Letters to a Therapist

Sometimes the hardest part of healing isn't knowing what to doβ€”it's finding the words for what you've been carrying.

I invite people from across Canada and around the world to anonymously write to me about whatever is on their heart. Whether you're navigating trauma, relationship challenges, loss, stress, self-doubt, loneliness, emotional overwhelm, or simply trying to make sense of your life: your story is welcome here.

I read every letter with care, compassion, and respect, then select one each week to answer publicly (with permission and identifying details removed). My hope is that these responses help not only the person who wrote them, but anyone who sees themselves reflected in the story. Because our struggles are more shared than we realize.

Disclaimer: Letters are answered for educational purposes only and do not constitute psychotherapy, crisis intervention, or medical advice. If you are experiencing an emergency, please contact your local emergency services or crisis resources.
